Info 2/2

July 6, 2009 Caro and her producers released "Back It Up" in The Netherlands on Grandmono Records, a label set up by her producers. National radio picked it up right away and made it a huge radio hit during the summer of 2009.
Follow up "A Night Like This" (released on Dec 11, 2009) blew up instantly and within a few weeks, reached #1 in the national single- and airplay charts.

On January 29, 2010 Grandmono released Caro Emerald's debut album "Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor" in The Netherlands. It entered at #1 and has been there for 26 weeks now, equalling the longest #1 position ever (Michael Jackson / Thriller) in the Dutch charts. So far, the album sold a stunning 170.000 copies in The Netherlands alone.

Meanwhile, Grandmono has signed exclusive deals to release Caro's music across Europe. Fall 2010, the album will be released by highly motivated partners in France and Switzerland (Sony FR), Germany, Austria, Eastern Europe and Russia (Universal Germany), UK and Ireland (Dramatico), Italy (Time Records), Scandinavia (Bonnier Amigo), Spain (Sony ES), Portugal (Sony PT) and Greece (Sony GR).
