Following Caro's sold out UK tour in March, Dramatico are releasing Dr Wanna Do as the last single from her phenomenally successful album 'Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor'

The single will be released on March 26th in the UK.

And don't forget, if you missed out on buying tickets for Caro's tour, you can see her at Hampton Court Palace Festival on Thursday 21st June

Caro gewinnt die Goldene Kamera!

Auch im neuen Jahr bleibt Caro Emerald weiter auf Erfolgskurs: Die talentierte Niederländerin erhält in diesem Jahr die Goldene Kamera in der Kategorie "Beste Musik International".

Caro wird den Preis bei der 47. Verleihung am 4. Februar in Berlin entgegennehmen.

Dieser Preis reiht sich in die zahlreichen Auszeichnungen, die Caro im vergangenen Jahr entgegen nehmen durfte, ein: Für ihr Debütalbum "Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor" erhielt sie Vierfach-Platin in den Niederlanden sowie Platin in Deutschland und Polen. Das Album blieb in ihrer Heimat 29 Wochen auf Platz eins, was zuvor nur Michael Jackson mit "Thriller" gelungen war. Caros Single "A Night Like This" erreichte zudem in Deutschland Doppel-Platin.

Goldene Kamera Award

Caro Emerald has won the prestigious Goldene Kamera Award for "Beste Musik International".
This was announced this morning on www.goldenekamera.de.
The Goldene Kamera award gala is a yearly event hosted by Hörzu (a German weekly television listings magazine). The award is handed out during the gala taking place on the fourth of February in Berlin and will be broadcasted live by the ZDF.

Caro to perform at Hampton Court Palace on June 21st

With her March shows in Britain sold out Caro announces her debut UK festival performance.

Caro will be performing in the gorgeous setting of Hampton Court Palace on the outskirts of London.

Enjoy a picnic on the lawns (the Palace Gardens open at 5.30pm) before Caro takes to the stage in the Palace Courtyard at 9pm.

Caro Emerald´s debuutalbum “Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor” is officieel platina in Engeland, Duitsland en 6x platina in Nederland. In totaal zijn er in Europa ruim 1 miljoen exemplaren van het album verkocht.

Vandaag kreeg de zangeres een 6x Platina Award uitgereikt in DWDD voor 300.000 verkochte albums in Nederland. In Engeland was “Deleted Scenes” het derde best verkopende independent album, na “21” en “19” van Adele. De single “A Night Like This” is ook platina in Duitsland, met meer dan 330.000 verkopen. Van alle albumverkopen was ongeveer 10% digitaal, de rest bestond uit cd’s.

Met meer dan 1 miljoen verkochte exemplaren is het album nu ook goed voor een Platinum Award van de IFPI, de wereldwijde branchevereniging van muziekmaatschappijen.

Fashion and beauty website Styletoday this week announced that Caro Emerald is the style icon for curvy women.

Caro topped a poll of women, with dress sizes of 12-18, who were asked to name the public figure whose dress-sense was most inspirational.

The site also praised Caro's "uber feminine" style and complimented her choice of tailored dresses and high heels.

"That Man" erscheint am 02.12.11 als nächste Singleauskopplung aus dem Erfolgsalbum "Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor".

Der Song wird ebenfalls im neuen Detlef Buck Film "Rubbeldiekatz" (mit u.a. Mathias Schweighöfer, Alexandra Maria Lara - Kinostart 15.12) zu hören sein und befindet sich auf dem gleichnamigen Soundtrack (VÖ 16.12).

Aus diesem Anlass wurde auch ein neues Video zum Song gedreht mit Szenen aus der Komödie - die Videopremiere findet heute statt - auf myVideo.de könnt ihr den neuen Clip sehen!
