Yes it’s here! Our new EP ‘MO x Caro Emerald by Grandmono‘ is available as download and streaming today. A limited edition CD (digipack) will be released on December 15 and can be pre-ordered HERE.
The EP is a collaboration between Grandmono and the Grammy award winning Metropole Orkest. It contains two new original songs, three re-recordings and an instrumental track. The sound is inspired on 60’s cinema – combining the lush sounding Metropole Orkest with the signature sound of Grandmono and of course Caro’s exquisite vocals. Italian cinema, French scores and exotica – it’s all there.
The EP was recorded with vintage gear at Electric Monkey Studio in Amsterdam. Part of the sound is a rare mixing desk previously owned by Ennio Morricone.
